Sea Trial of the THEIA II Smartwatch

The Air’N Outdoor team was able to test the accuracy of GPS tracks at sea, off the coast of the Levant Islands, on a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey sailboat equipped with Navionics charts. We were very pleased with how closely the recorded tracks matched the actual route. We found the boat to be very high-performing, particularly when sailing close-hauled. Sitting firmly on its chine, the boat plows safely through the water with all sails set in 15–20-knot winds, reaching speeds of nearly 8.5 knots.
